As an appreciation to Playstation Plus service subscribers, Sony often provides several free games every month. Entering January 2023, Sony is giving away three free games for people who subscribe to the Playstation Plus service.
This service is indeed included in the lowest tier, in the three types of paid services that Sony offers. In addition to the usual Playstation Plus services, Sony also offers Playstation Plus Deluxe and Premium services with a wider game catalog.
Hundreds of games contained in the catalog cannot be enjoyed by ordinary Playstation Plus customers. However, Sony still pays attention to Playstation Plus customers, by continuing to provide free games that can be an option to play.
For January 2023 which will be coming soon, Sony is giving away three games for free. The three games are Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76, and Axiom Verge. If you are a Playstation Plus subscriber, you can download it from January 3 to February 6, 2022.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Axiom Verge have PS5 and PS4 versions, so you can download them according to the console you have. Meanwhile, Fallout 76 only has a PS4 version, but you can still download it even if you're using a PS5.
You also have to prepare a large enough storage to download the game. For example, for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which requires approximately 45 GB for the PS4 version or 47 GB for the PS5 version.
Then for Fallout 76, the size you have to prepare is even bigger, which is around 75 GB. Meanwhile, for Axiom Verge, it doesn't require as much storage as the previous two games. This game only takes 300 MB for PS4, or 250 MB for the PS5 version.
