2025, Cloud Gaming Market in Asia Predicted to Reach 500 Million Gamers



In Asia, the market that can be reached by cloud gaming is projected to break the 500 million mark by 2025.

It cannot be denied, cloud gaming will revolutionize the way we consume video games. By only capitalizing on smartphones and a fast and stable internet connection, we can play a series of games that should only be able to run by PCs and consoles.

Although promising, in reality, cloud gaming is still far from the mainstream. According to a recent report from Niko Partners, the market reachable by cloud gaming in Asia is estimated to include only about 150 million people, and nearly half of it comes from China.

We know that Asia is one of the largest gaming markets in the world, with an estimated number of gamers as many as 1.5 billion people. 

Regardless, the market that can be reached by cloud gaming in Asia is projected to break the 500 million mark by 2025. But the condition is, 5G must be mainstream first.
